足立山麓はUrashima’s Box! |

● 広寿山福聚寺● 1665年、名僧隠元和尚の高弟・即非如一の開山。黄檗宗の禅寺らしい端正さに併せて大陸の息吹を感じる大伽藍。大屋根の甍が足立山の山並に美しく映える名刹である。小倉藩主小笠原氏の菩提寺で、本堂や門などは当時のまま残され、閑静な情緒溢れる情景を見せる。 |
| The temple was founded by Sokuhi Nyoichi, the best disciple of the Ming Chinese Zen Master Ingen, in 1665. The large Buddhist monastery feels the breath of the Continent as a temple belonging to the Obaku school of Zen Buddhism. It is a famous temple with a venerable history, and the tiles of the great roof stand out beautifully against Mt. Adachi. As a family temple of Ogasawara clan, the feudal lord of Kokura, the main fall and the gate still maintain their original quiet and serene atmosphere. |

● 妙見神社 神楽あだち● 足立山麓文化村の創立10周年を記念して、創られた”創作神楽あだち”。 和気清麻呂公と法王道鏡にまつわる宇佐八幡宮の神託争動をもとに創られた神楽。舞い踊る子供たちの姿が清々しい。この神楽は地元の足原小学校「神楽クラブ」の子供たちによって披露される。 |
| In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Adachi Sanroku Bunkamura, the “original kagura dance Adachi” was founded. This is based on the entrust problem of Usa Hachiman Shrine between Wakeno Kiyomaro and the priest Dokyo. Children dancing the Kagura look innocent and pure. This kagura dance is performed by the children of the kagura club of Ashihara elementary school. |

● 足立連山の眺望● 市民の憩いの場となっている国定公園内の足立山森林公園には、全国でも有数の赤松の自然林がある。 春には市内有数の桜の名所としても親しまれ、キャンプ場を備えた足立青少年の家や、こもれびの小径と名付けられた散策道などが楽しめる。 |
| There is one of the largest red pine natural forest in Adachi Shinrinkoen designated as a quasi-national park, where people come to relax. It is also familiar as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring. In addition, people can enjoy camping at Adachi Youth Home and strolling along a path named “narrow path with sunshine streaming through leaves”. |
